Three Cat Thursdays is looking for two interns/volunteers to join our staff.

Three Cat Thursdays is dedicated to “revolutionizing the world of independent artists.” Three Cat Thursdays is a weekly performance showcase for performers, musicians, composers, and playwrights. The series is designed to give seasoned pros and fledgling artists an opportunity to come together as a community in a professional and supportive atmosphere.

We are seeking two interns looking for college credit or to gain that first bit of experience in live theater. Interns will work with professional and emerging artists and performers from a variety of disciplines. Interns will develop leadership skills and hands-on experience working in live theater/performance. All positions are voluntary, but candidates must be reliable, committed, and excited about working with artists. Time commitment is 15 to 20 hours a week. The ideal candidate has a love of performance, theater, marketing and is seeking to gain much experience.

Marketing Intern
The marketing intern will work closely with the producer to assist in various aspects of Public Relations and Marketing. Duties include communicating with a variety of media outlets, updating web information (i.e. myspace), assisting in the development of a street team.

Artist Management Intern
The artist management intern will work closely with the producer, assisting in all aspects of Artist Management. Duties include communicating with potential performers, searching for and auditioning performers, coordinating with performers in all aspect of the showcase.
